Pathauto works differently depending on whether user is logged in.
I setup pathauto to the default settings, and the /content prefix is added to some urls during editing. However the content itself doesn't appear when the user is not logged in. Is that the way it supposed to work?

voipfc commentedOn further examination it appears that menu items are excluded from this behaviour, so I assume that there must be some filters adding the content prefix.
I have had to disable pathauto to get things working quickly. If that is normal behaviour is there a link to working this problem out?

gregglesCan you please provide a list of steps that describe exactly what you did, exactly what you expect to see, and exactly what happened? I don't really understand the situation you are describing.

voipfc commentedI had a the boost caching module working, but it also seems that pathauto was acting strangely as well. That behaviour turned up on a live site, so I am turning it off for the time being until I can reproduce it on a test site.
Thanks

gregglesok.

voipfc commentedI have disabled pathauto and currently only URL alias is working, but still logging on prefixes the path with an additional content. I will upgrade to the latest 5.7 to see if the problem persists and get back to you.

voipfc commentedOn further examination I realised that the problem arises if a url is not preceded with a leading /.
eg linkwill result in the url changing to link and cause an error,
link is fine.
Is there some module that can cause this to happen?

gregglesHow are the links being generated?
This is sounding more and more like a theme or HTML problem and not a pathauto problem.
