Drupal 4.7 End of Life

In the Drupal 6.0 announcement Gábor stated

Please note that as of now, the Drupal 4.7 branch is no longer maintained, so switching to Drupal 5 or 6 is strongly advised.

This post is a more specific announcement of that fact so that people are more aware of it.

The 4.7 Branch Maintainer, Gerhard Killesreiter has done a great job maintaining 4.7 and I think I speak for everyone when I say thanks.
