It's a little hard to tell what I'm signing up for. I generally don't jump on the anti-free-trade bandwagon though I empathize with a lot of the points. I'd need to be much better informed about the institutions they're trying to influence (WTO, World Bank, etc.), and about their agenda before I'd put up a white banner or start sending emails on their behalf. Besides, I don't think Tony Blair cares how many emails he gets.

Fair point about Blairs emails, but they have updated the site with more info on what they are doing, how people can help (beyond just emailing Blair) and they're trying to turn up the heat at the moment..

Perhaps the new updates will make it clearer what you are signing up for...
Worth noting that the MPH campaign is not a stand-alone campaign it's part of a bigger picture project with a lot of international agencies http://www.one.org/Partners.aspx who are spearheading all their efforts through one. Similar to the fundraising for the tsunami victims, it worked better when all the agencies worked through one campaign and one call centre.
While the heat is on in the UK, because of the g8 summit coming up soon...the campaign has a global reach.
the website white band is just for helping spread the word...and I just thought other drupal users who are maintaining sites could slap it in to support the campaign.

The site's not using Drupal, is it? It's definitely a good cause (and a great looking site), but there are lots of equally good causes. Since drupal.org has never done this before, my guess is that it would definitely have to be a Drupal site to even get the converstation started 'bout adding this in. Doubtful they would, though.

Sorry if I confused with my initial post. It's not really a drupal centric request...I was just spreading the word. The guys at bigmouthmedia are almost certainly not using drupal...not sure what they are using to be honest for the site.
Anyway..nuff said..just thought I'd mention it on here and if people are up for helping spread the word..great..if not..no worries.
