Issue Summary

There are a LOT of comments here: http://drupal.org/node/42597

It would be good if someone would go through, extract relevant information from the comments, and update the theming documentation. At least some of the comments point to other links which also have relevant information.

If it didn't happen yet, I guess it will never happen. Sorry, but this issue can be re-opened if someone wants to work on it.
