I feel like I'm cheating a bit here because I have already asked this to no avail; but I'm on a roll. I want to change some of the wording in the forum links like: comment, reply, post a topic etc but cannot find the file that determines them. Once again thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please go to modules -> forum folder then edit each files to search the words you want to change.

Thanks,

Best,

Hy ChanHan

...and read this about not hacking Drupal core - http://drupal.org/node/144376

Do you want to change the forum words to a language other than English?

to change drupal text strings you use the core locale.module

see: HOWTO: Creating a customized language set to replace Drupal terminology

doing it the correct way will provide you a cleaner update and upgrade path, unlike the users that hack away at core leaving themselves in a state of insecurity because they whine about not being able to update because they made so many changes to core files.

Thank you. I really appreciate the help. I had already looked at the localisation page but had not "sussed" it out and I don't think I would have found it on my own. Drupal is superb from the little I know about it. But boy oh boy is the learning curve steep. Thanks again
