Description
Hello there,
I noticed something weird with the leech module, some feed sources have stopped being leeched completely. I checked the original feed url and nothing changed. Also the settings are fine, since I selected to never erase anything, and also to publish all items.
Do you have any ideas where to look // what would cause a feed to freeze without warning or errors like that?
Do you have any idea whre I should look at first regarding this issue?
Thanks,
Patchak

I don't see any difference between a feed that works and a feed that does not... Any place where I could look, any hint about feeds that don't work??
Thanks,

Hi patchak,
the parser in leech is a custom animal, there might be issues where feeds out there changed and the parser can't cope with the new format. Could you post a feed that works and one that doesn't ?

Hi Alex,
Here are two feeds that don't work on my site:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/GuimWeblog
http://feeds.feedburner.com/Fredzone
I think they will work on any other test install, but here they don,t work on my site after I edit the Feed Source page.
In the case of Fredzone, the source feed changes his rss adress and once I change it on my site the bog posts are no longer leeched...
So it seems like an issue when the user changes the feed adress..? Any advice on how I could fix this? When I press th button to leech items I don't get any error just a blank page and no feed item is added..
PLease help as we should b able to change a source feed's rss url without breaking it?
Thanks,
Patchak

I was thinking, could this be a caching issue? I use drupal cache and also memcache...I was wondering maybe the cache is making it impossible to refresh?
Thanks

Hey there, jsut found something really weird with the leech install on my site. Suddenly and without any apparent reason all links to "refresh feeds" link to the url of the feed itself and not to the source feed url.
an example when I click on refresh feeds for a feed I get a link like this :
http://www.geekomatik.com/leech/refresh/6110?destination=leech/feed/6110
Not sure if this is the normal url I should get?? Still wondering why some feeds would stop working??
