Depends on how fancy you
Depends on how fancy you want to get-- I use the Image module successfully with some theming, but there are other modules with varying degree of functionality all the way through to full gallery2 integration.

Yeah I have been trying to work out what to use myself, I have decided to go with images (http://drupal.org/project/image) as I think it will make it easier when time comes to upgrade and also can be made to look pretty with http://drupal.org/node/41257. The gallery intergration module ( http://drupal.org/project/gallery ) will be the way to go if you want all the bells and wistles, but personally I am not to keen on intergrating drupal with other software. Acidfree albums is nice but wether it will ever be available on drupal 6 and when is what decided me to stick to the plain old image module. Try them all and decide then.
