Hi

Can someone please tell me how I can force a recipe to appear in more than one category. I created a taxonomy list like this:

Recipes
Cooking for Kids
Desserts
Drinks
Main Courses
Pies & Pastries
Salads

I need to put some recipes in more than one category (e.g. chocolate milkshake can go into Drinks and Cooking for Kids.)

Can someone tell me how to do this with this module.

Please move if in the wrong place - sorry I am new to drupal

the ability to assign muliple categories is all going to be addressed with your taxonomy settings, so look at what you've got there on the vocab you're using to be able to set multiple categories.

Thanks for the reply. In case someone else has this problem here is what I did:

Go to Administer/Content Management/Categories
Scroll down to find Recipes and click the edit vocabulary link next to it
Scroll down the page until you find Heirarchy - you will see some tick boxes
The third tick box down is "Multiple select" - make sure this is ticked
Click save to update your settings

Now when you add a recipe you can press the ctrl key to select more than one category

Is there an easy way to just make the taxonomy as check boxes rather than a multi-select list?

For computer savvy people the multi-list works fine, but for the technologically challenged it's a nightmare.

Thanks for any replies

Thanks for the reply drawk,

I just tried the TSS and it wouldn't work for me. I'll try it again at some other point with a clean install. I'm open to trying any other remedy that doesn't involve doing a slash & burn.

Thanks again
