We have set up http://drupal.fi/ for Finnish Drupal users and it would be nice to get a link to Drupal.org

Thank you wesku for the link add request.
As the owner of the drupal.fi domain* I second wesku's request.

* see https://domain.ficora.fi and run a search for drupal.fi, or alternatively, to achieve the same result using a single click only, see http://whois.louhi.net/drupal.fi

As supplemental information and to confirm all of the above:

Drupal.fi, which currently points to 84.234.69.253, is being hosted on a server provided by my company. This is an practicality arrangement, since jberg does not have resources to maintain the site. No promotional material, direct or otherwise, of the company is presented on the site. wesku, jberg and me have no connection with each other (besides interest in Drupal, as far as I know).

The site has been built and is maintained by a distributed, loosely coupled group of volunteers. Currently drupal.fi provides discussion forums, a coordination hub for the Finnish translation effort and some Drupal-related documentation. The site was launched 10/2007, and content development became active in January and is still somewhat in progress. Despite this, the site has received soon 100 registered users (and rapidly increasing), and the first user meeting was held last week.

Currently, there is no About-page, simply because there is no single entity which could be singled out as the one being "in charge". This will change in the near future, however, since the user community has a plan to register a non-profit support association, which could then be named also as a background organization for drupal.fi.

Sepeck fixed this yesterday already.

Ok, I must have missed that yesterday when I checked.

And as far as my long plea/disclaimer/confirmation above: if anybody is ever interested in the "origins of drupal.fi", at least it's documented now. :-)
