Hi again,
I replaced my version of Super Nav with the latest one (from yesterday) and ran Drupal's update.php script, but:
a) Drupal did not report that it saw a new version of Super Nav
b) Super Nav does not seem to be behaving differently than before the update: when I log out, its frame still remains
Perhaps I'm not clear on how to upgrade a module? Info appreciated -- thanks!
-Roy.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedAn update via the update.php script is only necessary if there are database changes required.
I think this was not the case so that is why there is no update version to select from.

ardee-1 commentedAh, yes, of course. That explains the first item.
As for part b: any thoughts on why the new version still doesn't seem to remove the admin frame when you log out of Drupal 5.7?
Thanks.

chrisshattuck commentedHi Roy,
The frame closes for me. I've got it going on a few sites now, and it seems to close on all of them. That says to me that something else must be getting in the way. Hopefully someone else will have the same problem so we can do some cross-referencing. Does everything else seem to work as expected?
Thanks,
Chris

ardee-1 commentedHmmm ... I just tested it under both Firefox 2 & IE 6 and in both cases the frame sticks around after logging out. All other features that I've tested seem fine.

chrisshattuck commentedWell, Roy, I'm hoping that someone else will have the same issue and we can track down the cause. Is it possible that you don't have the latest version?

ardee-1 commentedI thought I was very careful to delete the old one and upload the new one. However, the evidence was against me. So I just got the very latest one and now all's well. Thanks, and sorry if, despite trying to be careful, I screwed up before.
