I activated the core book module but supernav does not refreshes the content types to choose from in the create content menu.

If your menu changes, you will need to refresh the Super Nav frame (or the browser) to reflect the changes. When you add a new content type, for example, it will add a new item to your menu, so you'll need to refresh to show the new item.

Refreshing was not enough with Firefox. I had to clear the client firefox cache and after that the new content type was shown.
It is just a minor thing.
