I am running a website where I take applications from people and talk with them back and forth via email, I like the way the Gmail web email client works as it runs more logically than any email client out there for windows or linux and I prefer linux for which the email clients really suck.

I am using smtp mod. It workes well with smtp and smtps (gmail) http://drupal.org/project/smtp
