Following the instructions carefully, I've got things mostly working, except the user profile always has the heading "%profilenode" instead of the user name. I'm using advprofile with nodeprofile. What could I be missing here? Thanks!

noelbush commentedOh never mind, sorry. This was happening because I didn't yet have a nodeprofile created for the user I was testing with.

scedwar commentedI have the same problem and can confirm that it occurs when the user does not have a profile created.
In my case, I'm testing advanced_profile on my dev copy of a busy site with hundreds of users. Hence all users have created profiles prior to installing advanced_profile/bio.
This would look better if it showed the user name instead of %profilenode% and a message in the relevant panes saying something like "user has not yet created a public profile".
As a side point, is it possible to force the creation of empty bio nodes for existing user profiles on installation?
