Drupal integration looks

bAcKuP - February 26, 2008 - 04:07

Drupal integration looks real nice, very clear.
I might reconsider the color combinations...
The green color used in the background top menu doesn't fit as well as it could in my opinion.
I think it would look nicer in black.
Also, perhaps the green text in the body could be purple.

Also, the logo gets a bit messed up in internet explorer 7.

Cheers :)

broccoli (some like, some don't)

thanks for your input, can you describe the logo problem in a bit more detail, or maybe provide a screenshot, I cannot seem to find anything wrong with it on any browser (IE6/7, FF2, Safari, Opera)

also, here is where I liberated my colorscheme: http://offgenemi.deviantart.com/art/Royal-purple-chrysanthemum-77160254

Yeah, I guess you can't

bAcKuP - February 27, 2008 - 05:35

Yeah, I guess you can't debate tastes in colors...

Anyway, yeah here is a screenshots:

The bottom one is in ie7 with normal settings of text size.
The top one is with smaller text size...

Noticed the problem with the logo doesn't happen when you change the text size from the browser menu. But it does when you change the font using Ctrl+Mouse Scroller... So probably a bug in ie7

Cheers :)

zoom & text size

trevorlee_nc - February 27, 2008 - 11:56

what you ran into was IE's Zoom feature, which makes everything bigger or smaller...never used it before til now...don't know that it's a bug in ie, I think that's how the feature is supposed to work...it resizes everything...

anyway....thanks much for getting back to me.

Welcome :)
Yeah the resizing thing is a handy feature, I use it all the time, it is in other browsers too, works fine in Firefox.
Even without using the resizing, in ie7 the text overlaps the logo text with normal font size setting.
Might be just my default settings.

I like it. A very good

I like it. A very good example of Drupal. And I actually like the color combination. Something about it gives me an impression of zest and "Hi there!" Sure it may not be edgy or confidently caustic, per se, but it's nice and the scheme works in its own way. Most portfolios nowadays seem to go out of their way to look gritty, grungy, and "in your face" raw. I'm tired of that. Yours is nice. *thumbs up*

XD
