Hello,
In Drupal6, in /admin/build/block, when i save the page, i have this error :
"Validation error, please try again. If this error persists, please
contact the site administrator."
In fact i have this error on several D6 themes but not Garland.
So i don't know if it's a error theme or other thing.
Do you have an idea ?
Thanks,
Julien.

I have this problem right now too. Anyone solve it?
Not as admin
I just started getting this error, I think after I installed the Secure Site module. A "validation error" comes up when trying to save any type of content, except when logged in as admin. Maybe I just have a configuration issue.

Started gettimg this error on my website recently. No clue why it is there.
Can someone please help on this?
Same problem
I started encountering this problem after installing the dev version of Panels 3 for D6.
I then disabled the module, and copied the beta version into my module folder, then re-enabled.
Started getting this error then.

you can't downgrade modules that way, you must completely uninstall them by using the uninstall tab, while the module folder is still on the server. Doing so allows the uninstall hook to run which removes all traces of the module from the database.
You are essentially, as far as the database is concerned running 3.x-dev with incorrect files which are the beta files.
Try Refreshing the Page
If you want to edit or create a node and this error comes up, try refreshing the page first then edit or create the content. The error disapears for me.
Validation error, please try again
Subscribing. This error just started happening to me when users fill out the contact form which uses the webforms module. I've combed through many posts from people who get the "Validation error, please try again . . " error. I'm not sure if its any one module casuing it because I've seen this issue under many module issues. The only thing I changed recently is I started using the seo checklist module and installed a few of the recommended modules such as urlify, xmlsitemap, path_redirect, find_path, trackback. Interested to see if anyone comes up with a reason for the error.
Getting this on several sites
Getting this on several sites when updating nodes. I also use "save & edit" module on one site and users report this issue occurring quite often when saving a node. I've seen this in one other scenario using the status update form from "Facebook-Style Statuses"
