I'm having the same issue. Currently using this work around, i've created a new menu tree at the same level as Navigation and Primary Links, called DHTML and i've put all the links i don't want to see into that. I'm not displaying that block so they effectively disappear.

I too have this issue... i'd like to use this but the menu that the DHTML creates is too big and shows options I don't want visible to my users.
