Description

Hey folks,

i installed Global Redirect, but in some nodes, there is only a HTTP/1.1 200 OK redirect. E.G.
http://www.allround-pc.com/node/290
I checked it with the site: http://www.seoconsultants.com/tools/headers.asp
What's going wrong?

What server are you running ok (eg, Apache, IIS, Lighttpd, etc)?

Maybe I also point out that node/290 is not redirecting (hence the 200 OK).... Regardless of server running, if you're experiencing this issue, please provide a 'broken' URL.

Thanks,
Nick

I thought that all nodes are redirected by 301.
Perhaps you can check out some node url's by Google: http://www.google.com/search?q=site:allround-pc.com/node
All nodes have an url alias.

This is very odd... Globalredirect isn't firing at ALL on your site... Example:
http://www.allround-pc.com/node/205
http://www.allround-pc.com/artikel/software/2007/futuremark-pc-mark-vant...

I assume you're using the shipped Path module (ie, unmodified)? Which version of Drupal are you using (I cant seem to find your sites CHANGELOG file).

What is MEANT to happen is that a request to 'node/205' should 301 redirect you to the full path alias...

Have you enabled Aggressive Caching?

Hey,

it's D5.7 (vbDrupal www.vbdrupal.org). I didn't change anything at the Path module.

I only enable Normal Caching.

Interesting project - although because its a custom branch, there is a chance they might have introduced a bug with some of the functions which GR requires...

Global Redirect IS actually working - check this...
Go to... http://www.allround-pc.com/startseite
Redirects to... http://www.allround-pc.com/

So, for some reason, its having issues looking up the alias paths... You might need to compare some of the path functions in your branch of drupal to that of core as I believe that could be where the problem may lay.
