Hi ;-) finally I got the drop down to work and is populated but now when I check "use with drigg" add the uid of the user/s that I will like it to use and submit, no erro nothing but I edit it again and is uncheck like if I never did anything to it....
to update I had to go to the update.php and even do it says under drigg "no update needed" I had to open the drop down box and select the number 2 and do the update.. it give me some db error like not been able to delete such and such thing(good) because I have it populated, after that I got the drop down to populate with the categories, but now I have this other issue. sorry.

I am sorry, but I have tested this over and over again, and so have other people, and nobody else seems to have this problem.
Please send me your login/pass/url once more, and I will look into it. I am 98% sure it's a problem specific to your installation.

yes, of course, I upgraded Drupal to 5.7(this has carry a new issue that I will post later)
I reinstalled, I have upgraded drigg each time you come with an update and still the same.. I notes that is not only with drigg..
when I try to give a rol to someones account it will revert back to default just like the RSS portion of drigg but then it only happens on giving roles or on the RSS feature of drigg.. nothing else seems to have the issue. :-/

Rek2: please add *precise* instructions on how to reproduce the problem *precisely*.

I am especially interested in knowing how to reproduce the "roles" problem.

When I say "precise", I mean "EXTREMELY PRECISE": step by step. My grandma needs to be able to do it.

Please give precise instructions on roles that work, and roles that don't work.

lol, will be easier if my first language was English...

1. I created a couple month a go a new role.
2. recently after upgrading drigg and working on resolving the issue with RSS
2a. when Drigg introduced the RSS feature I had one issue and this was that I was not fully upgraded it was still showing the older drigg version.. we fix this.
2b so then I went to add the correct data, I choose one RSS feed I already had, check the drigg check box, add the UID of the user/s that I want the story to come out as, feel the rest of the options, I save the feed. but if I open the feed again all the options related to Dridd(only to Drigg) are empty like if I never touch it.. I try to see if the same issue happen with the rest of the RSS feed options.. but negative.. I can check and uncheck and they get *save* just fine.. is only to drigg.
3. so trying to fix this I mention above one day I notes that when I was going to add a higher role that I made to a user, he was not able to enter the part of the site that the role will had enable him to... I check back.. and for my surprise the role under his user profile was uncheck just like the drigg RSS part is like if I never had enter it... I try again and same result..
4. so after looking around more I can't find other parts of Drupal that will give me this issue.. only RSS drigg part on the RSS feed configuration and to add a regular user to a custom drupal role I made a some time ago..
