I haven't gotten a chance to use the Advanced Forum module yet because I'm waiting for it to come into beta before trying it out so tell me if this is already included or planned for the future.

Do you think it would be possible to have an "edit signature permission" whenever signatures are implemented? I think you guys will also have edit profile permissions but I wouldn't mind having more fine-grained permissions. Like edit signature and maybe edit avatar, etc.

Edit signature and edit avatar wouldn't be handled by advforum. For signatures, have a look at http://drupal.org/project/signature_forum and file a FR there if it doesn't have that permission. The avatar is core Drupal. I don't know if it's possible to add a permission to that or not without hacking core. You could file a FR against Drupal, though.
