will this work for me?

I haven't installed or tried to use the module as I am wondering IF it will work for my needs - and it sounds like it is quite involved....so I hope to get some advice.

I want to create a content type that will allow user to submit a node that will require review by another suitable user - the node type will be the time it took for the user to do a running race. The user will submit their performance and by using Views, I can show a list of results and sort it by performance and the top one will show it as a record.

But it will require review to to verify that the data is correct/genuine and flag the posted result as true so it shows in the views list as an approved record.

Regardless of being flagged as a record, I will still want to show it the list of node submissions.

So will this module help?

My vision is to have a bunch of fields for the poster to fill in...but then won't I need another field that is used only by the "approver" to flag the node as verified? and that field is never seen (to edit) by the submitter? From what I've seen, all fields are all visible on the initial node submission page.

How could I direct certain user's submissions to one user for approval but another group of submitters to another user for approval? I am thinking regional approvers....for example, if the submitter is Canadian, their submissions go to the Canadian approver but if the submitter is American, it goes to another user for approval.
