I saw this was reported for the 5.x version but this seems to be a MAJOR problem and renders the entire module useless.

I am running Ubuntu 7.10 with php 5 MySQL 5 - and all the latest php libraries.

In your case, do you see that last line? It says you can't use Faq_Ask with free-tagging vocabularies. You can use the "Suggest a category" feature, but not a true free-tagging vocabulary.

OK - yeah the issue was having a free form TAG allowed in FAQs
