Is it possible to have events that span multiple days have a single 'banner' that shows event info and that span multiple days' cells in the monthly calendar view? As it is now, multi-day events have a small cell in each day's calendar cell.

Obviously there would have to be a separate banner per week the event may span.

I find it harder to read the calender and it crams all the data in a small cell. Desktop calendar programs (Apple iCal for ex) does this and is way more appealing. My calendar is getting really cluttered:

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
