Description
Is it possible to maintain context in the primary menu (and associated secondary & tertiary levels)? See attached image for what I am trying to achieve.

I think this belongs under feature request as Taxonomy context doesn't seem to support this.

@cbrody
I am confused by the separation between subnavigatoin and the primary navigation in your diagram. So assuming your diagram is meant to encapsulate a single menu and not two separate menus, then I understand your needs to be:
When a node has two terms from one vocabulary attached to it, taxonomy context should use the second term as the active menu item.
Please clarify.

Not quite. I have now decided to split the menu and make the left-hand side navigation an independent block and use a php test to determine which menu to show dependent on taxonomy. I still need to maintain context in the primary menu however (dependent on the top-level taxonomy term, regardless of term order), and neither taxonomy_context nor the menu_trails module seems to support this.

No one is working on the 5.x branches.
