It's for cvs, but should apply cleanly to 4.6 too.

You're absolutely right - I'm very sorry. I looked at the file in my webbrowser and what I saw looked very un-patchfile like - perhaps because of the long lines... not sure why!

Anyway, I've applied the patch, it does what it says! Thanks...
