Smarty.php Error

Hello!
Ok, so I'm running drupal 5.7 and I'm pretty sure I installed kt correctly.
However, when I go to the login page at mysite/kt I get an error:
Fatal error: Smarty error: the $compile_dir '/tmp' does not exist, or is not a directory. in C:\www\webapps\drupal\kt\thirdparty\Smarty\Smarty.class.php on line 1088
I searched a bit on google and found an answer for a different app:

The site basically stated that "In windows you dont have a '/tmp' directory. Normally it will be 'c:\tmp'", thus causing the error.
Any ideas how I can fix this is in drupal? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
