Hello
It would be way cool if the module would be easier to use. How about displaying the carousel in a block and configure it via a web interface. I bet a lot more people would/could use it.

wim leersThis is a developer module. For easy use, see the panels_carousel, views_carousel (part of carousel) and nodecarousel modules.

theorichel commentedI understand now, but it has cost me an hour to find this out. This is just happening time and again with Drupal (three years very depressing experiences).
I am quite prepared to thank the module makers for the wonderful work they do, but the miserable way they describe their work very often makes that thankful feeling disappear and turn into hatred. That is not what I want, but this happens so often that I seriously wonder whether on the whole the Drupal balance is really positive and whether one shouldnt better spend some money. I have seen several questions of people here asking how this module works, then why don't you put this simple line on top of the modules home page? They will stop asking questions that you do not feel like answering. They save time, you save time. People will love you!
