Does anyone know the status of this module?
What will it take to make this an actual release?
#4
Any update on this? The current state and time its taking is unacceptable...
#5
Try one of the other backup modules: http://is.gd/14F4K
#6
Marked #294474: Compatible with 6? as a duplicate of this issue.

Hi folks,
I'm the maintainer of this module, but a combination of real life and edge cases (like me not owning any Windows machines) has kept me from doing as much with this module as I'd like.
If someone else wants to take over the module (like the kind person who submitted these patches), feel free. Just give me instructions on how to add a CVS maintainer. Thanks.

dmuth--does this module do anything that http://drupal.org/project/backup_migrate doesn't? If not, I recommend formally abandoning this module since nobody has stepped up.
#9
Aren +1 for this. Perhaps an admin could mark this as obsolete and point the module page to Backup and Migrate
#10
Per no response to #8.

http://drupal.org/project/backup can be marked as abandoned.
