I believe this project is largely a duplicate of the nodewords module. Can you clarify how they are different on the project page? Also, it would be great if you could merge the features that make them different into the nodewords project and then help as co-maintainer of that project.

Having two projects that do similar things often ends up with a sub-optimal situation for developers and users.

I've added a "key features" list to the project description page.

The methodology of this module is somewhat different from the Nodewords project, as this project merely exposes node data. However, if after reading the new project description you still feel this needs to be rolled into the Nodewords project, I'll look into how feasible that is.

As an aside, this module is also meant to be geared toward the enterprise, as regular users probably won't find this exposure beneficial.

Nodewords is also aimed at exposing node data via meta tags. I understand that this has a very specific focus - I think by generalizing it (perhaps using token module like nodewords seems to be moving to in the 6.x-2 branch) that would make it more useful for the world in general.

The documentation looks good - I'll leave it to you as to whether you want to merge.

Next to this a question. If Nodewords is enabled and the metatags are filled. This module is not functioning, right?
SO it is OR using nodewords (metatags) or using this module? Or am I missing something?
I would like to have the possibilities of nodewords for making the metatags myself and the possibilities of this module to generate them from the possible available fields/tokens. May be possible on node/edit node/add screen to get a box like pathauto has with generating path names.
And taxonomy support of this module next to node support would also very much be appreciated.
This of course means integration of the two modules. So +1 for nodewords integration, but also on drupal 5 branch!

I have done no testing in conjunction with the Nodewords project. I would think that if you have them both setup, you'll end up having two metatags with the same name.

Feel free to break out your other questions/suggestions into their own issues rather than adding to this one. This issue was for documentation and the possibility of merging the two projects together. Realizing the value of the Nodewords project, I have no plans to implement features that project already has.

If there are any suggestions on how this project should be merged with the Nodewords project (and not feature requests), please suggest here.
