Hello,

I have just upgraded to 6.1, hoping that the old familiar "Menu Settings" option would re-appear below the content input fields, but alas, it didn't. I suspect that I'll get the requisite "please search prior to posting" comments, but I have and am posting due to not finding anything other than talk last July about a patch. I would think that the upgrade would contain the patch.

What I need to know is how to put new content in the main menu.

as far as menus and menu items, it appears that someone with administer menus permission would have to add it via administer > site building > menus. not being versed in v6.x yet, i am wondering if it is related to the drag-n-drop capability of the new menu/block ordering system. in any case, it seems to be an admin-level permission...please correct if i am wrong.

i am guessing that the node in question is not a part of a list (like a help or about page)? if you are doing lists, i would have said "views" in the past, but that is not quite ready yet. maybe a look at the taxonomy system?

Yeah, that's it.

I had just gotten used to seeing the Menu Settings link the area where you add content.

This works fine.
