Issue Summary
Is it possible to add a feature to this module that would send users an email message (preferably customizable) telling them their account will expire in X days? In addition to this is it possible to add the option for a designated user (i.e., whomever administers members) to receive a copy of the email message if they want to? I could see this to be particularly useful if user accounts related to membership within an organization such as a non-profit where the non-profit organization has a general member administration system outside of drupal.

Email notification to user and administrator is in fact next on the list of features I want to add.
I am not sure whether it is best to code in the functionality or specify that Workflow-ng should manage it (I think that should be possible). Opinions please.

I don't currently use workflow. If it's possible for workflow to manage it and to customize the message(s) that are sent that would probably work. If messages are not customizable it might be better as part of this module.

I would love this feature as well.
I would prefer it to auto configure a workflow module to complete this, but a standalone feature is fine as a quick feature enhancement.

Adding WorkFlow rules could be really useful for other things. Could we add a workflow for "on expire"?
Other uses would be
1>Contact to user
2>contact to admin
3>Apply ANOTHER role (ie downgrade account)
