Great module! One issue is that when using multiple sites it is not always possible to update everything right away. Thus, having the notice show on all admin pages gets old quickly. I really don't want to turn it off but am on the brink.

Can you either just show the message on the modules page or put in a settings page with visibility or options to allow the admin to decide where the notices should show?

Settings to ignore releases are available at: admin/logs/updates/settings

The choices I see are "All newer versions" or "Only security updates". While this is nice, having the notice for "Only security updates" all admin pages is still overkill. It is really only necessary on the modules page as it will still get people's attention. Just my 2 cents.

If you're actually using update_status 5.x-2.x then there are definitely settings for ignoring releases on that page.

If you're using the core 6.x version (Project: Drupal, component: update.module -- please move the issue) then http://drupal.org/project/update_advanced provides the same features.
