I just added a few machine tags to my content, and it seems that the parents aren't set. When I add "Nationality:German", I get the terms "nationality" and "german", but the "german" term doesn't have "nationality" as its parent.

Actually, on a fresh install I got "nationality" and "Nationality:German" as the terms.
