Using vote_up_down, voting api to create a page that automatically shows and re-orders teasers based on votes?

I'm trying to create a site where users write their own blog articles and users of the site vote an article up or down. I have the vote_up_down module installed but I don't see a way to make a page where it shows teasers of the articles and they move up or down based on votes, has anyone else done something like this before? I've looked into the drigg module but its different than what I am trying to do since I want to use articles on my own site and I think it'd be overkill to try to get that to work for my problem.
