Left padding with fluid layout 100% width ?

Description
I have selected the fluid layout and 100% layout width. There does not seem to be any way to get left padding without breaking the right sidebar. Both the content and the left sidebar have no padding on the left. Applying padding on the left breaks the theme.
Any way to get left padding with a 100% width?
