error with memory size

What is this error that im getting?

An error occurred. http://localhost/drupal6/install.php?locale=en&profile=default&id=1&op=do Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1728 bytes) in C:\wamp\www\drupal6\includes\database.mysqli.inc on line 42

It was something to do with an old wamp installation. the lattest has the bug fixed

Error when installing drupal

I am new to drupal I am getting this error while installing drupal.
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in C:\wamp\www\drupal\includes\theme.inc on line 758";
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in C:\wamp\www\drupal\includes\menu.inc on line 2309"

Please help
