I recently installed the InsertNode module with the intention of creating shared content that could be reused across my site. Much of the shared content will include images; however I've found that the module does not generate image tags for users other than administrators.

I've attached two screen shots. The names are self explanitary. Please note that the "chart" image in both screen shots is hard coded into the node so that I could determine whether I had a bigger problem.

I'm pretty sure that I'm doing something dumb, but I can't find any way of turning this feature off so that the images in shared content appear across the site. Are there any user settings that I've missed? Any help will be most appreciated.

Thanks...Geoff

I forgot to mention that some of the images are stored in a local image gallery, and some are referenced off the internet (eg: Bugzilla bug life cycle). The behaviour is the same in both cases - the image does not display for anyone who does not have administration privileges. I looked at the generated HTML and there are no IMG tags. I do use the HTML filter to filter out unwanted HTML as well; but IMG tags are allowed. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Further investigation shows that in order for the images to be displayed the user must have the "Administer Nodes" privilege.

Further investigation today shows that it is not just images that are suffering, but text as well. I'm not sure how I managed to miss that before, but I feel like a bit of a fool.

FYI - This filter has been enabled in the default input type so that it is used by everybody.

I've just installed the production version and it is working as expected. Anonymous users can see the inserted nodes. This issue can be closed. Thanks.
