Hi there,
menu item not displayed
I have the problem that with the 'primary links' menu as well as with menus I created myself, the
class="active"
is not added to the active menu items. With the user menu (or admin menu or whatever it's called) this is no problem at all, there the active item gets marked no problem.
I am using clean URLs, so I thought this might be a problem. However, on another Drupal site I built I could use clean URLs without any hassle. However I noticed another strange behaviour with clean URLs:
I cannot change a URL alias from the 'edit' page of a node. After I click on 'save', the alias stays unchanged. The only way to work around this is to delete the URL alias, click 'save', then add the new one and click 'save' again.
Perhaps the two problems are somehow related?
I don't really care about not being able to easily change the URL aliases, but it would be nice if the active menu item could get highlighted ...
Thanks for your help!
Cheers from Germany,
Andreas

I also have the same problem. I've found solutions for older versions of drupal. But the functions are not the same anymore.
I am using the marinelli theme's base structure, and I have changed the css and added many modules. Since then, everything works how I want, but my clean url's dont work very well and the .active state is missing from my primary nav.
if anyone knows what is happening with this, please respond to it.
