You have to download the actual TinyMCE software from http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/download.php and unzip it into the modules/tinymce/ directory. Download version 2.x, because version 3.x is very new and I can't guarantee that it'll work yet!

Although version 3.x is new, installing it solved the problems I was having using TinyMCE and firefox. I was getting the navigate away from this page error in both IE and firefox, but my information was being saved. After firefox updated, I would get that message and then an error about the body field being required. Firefox no longer saved anything I typed into the body field. None of the methods suggested to fix it worked. I decided to try the new version of TinyMCE today and not only does it save the body field, I also no longer have the navigate away from this page popup.

I had that annoying problem when the autosave button was enabled

if I remember you have 2 steps,

1. uncompress tinymce module in modules folder
2. then download tinymce from http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/ and then ucompress it in modules/tinymce/

What the error is saying that you have the module but it is missing tinymce editor Could not find the TinyMCE engine installed at modules/tinymce/tinymce/.

And it is saying that you have to go to download site (above) and ucompress downloaded file and you'll get folder, probably called "tinymce" then you copy the whole folder to location /modules/tinymce folderPlease download TinyMCE, uncompress it and copy the folderinto modules/tinymce.

(Then you'll get folder structure /modules/tinymce/tinymce which is the first error statement talking about.)

the point is install the module, then install the editor inside the module, and then configure

I hope this helps.

There seems to be no new version or tinymce module compatible with 6.1
