Description

Hi, after installing mailhandler, mailsave, unwrap, safehtml and mailalias I was able to send mails and mmses to my drupal site and have them appear, including images. Kudos to the mailsave people.

Now I would like to have videos appear on my site as well when I send them from MMS. That would be awesome. The http://drupal.org/project/video module handles 3gp videos, for instance. Of course, sending other kinds of video with e-mail (not least to get around the pesky MMS message size limit) would be great.

Hello! Glad you like mailsave.

Adding video support is on my "to do" list. Unfortunately, so are a lot of other (non-Drupal!) things.

The principle of adding video support is fairly easy, and a couple of months back I did start experimenting with this, but then the work stalled.

It is intended to add video support, and the new modular architecture of mailsave means this shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

Of course, if someone wanted to make a start and submit a patch that would be gratefully received ;-)

For now I have to set this as postponed as I can't commit to a timeframe on this, but it will come at some point!
