I'm wondering when will this esxcellent module be ported to 6.x???
Aproximately when may this happen?
If not, then which module shall I use instead? (I have 6.x Voting API, FiveStar, Actions, Trigger)
Please reply because this kind of functionality is crucial for my new website.

I need voting actions in drupal 6.x to:
1: Promote to frontpage a node when certain number of points is reached for the node.
2: Also set the modified time to current timeframe for the node... so they can be sorted by the time they were promoted to frontpage.
would it be possible?

Looks like there are 10 of us who would like to see a D6 version of this module, but it's not getting much attention. Should we pool some money between us to tempt someone to take it on?

I'm not sure but can't we use the rules module instead of this one?? Does the rules module talk with the Voting API??

This module is yet another duplication of triggers module just for votingapi. This is not at all abstract and a major duplication of Rules
I'm setting this to won't fix, because all of the code this module provides is better written in Rules and there aren't any actions provided such as voting on behalf of a user, changing a user's vote, or deleting a user's vote(s). Therefore, it is not worth updating.
#319094: Integration with Rules is however worth using/reviewing/helping.
