Hello! I have drupal running with aplus.net hosting. It's running fine so far. (in fact, i love drupal!) but have one question. I have to request outbound access and want to do that for the update service. I have to fill out this form and don't know how to do that. I don't know the server info or what to put in here.
"Please allow the outbound connections for scripts for FTP username: danska
Local script filename (and location) which needs the outbound connection:
1.
2.
...
Remote server IP address and port number:
1.
2.
...
Exact purpose of this connection:
1.
2.
...
Please note that our firewall is IP based. If the remote host changes its IP address in the future, please notify us of the change.
"
Can anybody help me with this form? I would love to get this done so i could use the feature. Their firewall is just killing me.

Me too!
I assume that it's the /index.php script that ultimately requests update information - I just need to know the IP Address and port number....
The aplus.net firewall is IP based, so I did an nslookup on updates.drupal.org and got 140.211.166.6, however browsing to http://140.211.166.6/release-history/ got me a 403 error. I'm going to request 140.211.166.6 anyway, and I'll report back on the results.
Requesting 140.211.166.6
Requesting 140.211.166.6 port 80 for index, php worked. The risk is that if the IP address changes I'll need to request an update to the firewall.
