There is a news aggregator module supplied in Drupal 6.1 and generally I am quite pleased about it. However, there seems to be some limitations with the module (eg. unable to choose another parser) hence I installed FeedAPI. However, according to the README.txt, I should be able to find
2) FeedAPI Aggregator - If you like how the core aggregator module handles news
items, you should enable it. This module simply tries to behave like the core
aggregator, but it benefits from the pluggable parsers system and has more
configuration possibilities.

aron novakThanks for the warning, the README.txt has been updated, the next beta will contain proper readme.
The feedapi_aggregator was dropped from FeedAPI for 6 main package. The main FeedAPI is simply too big. If someone really needs lightweight processor for FeedAPI, it would be really glad if she can create a new project and port feedapi_aggregator for Drupal 6.

alex_b commentedthis is a simple one: it shouldn't be hard to upgrade feedapi_aggregator to 6 - then just publish it to its own project page on drupal.org. feedapi_aggregator users step up! ;P
