kmillecam commentedHi Toma,
Your request (to be able to use the Mibbit client with servers other than Mibbit.com) is close to the top of the Mibbit developer's list. Hopefully they'll have something to show us soon.

MattWA commentedI would have to second that.. the mibbit client interface is clean and works well. I would like to connect to efnet though (on efnet since 93). Having a configurable drop down list of IRC servers like the one that is available at http://webchat.mibbit.com/ would be ideal. Thanks!!
edit: Actually it looks like mibbit does support this. Instead of using the module, I just created a new block with the HTML code for a new popout window for the irc chat. Works great!

kmillecam commentedThanks for the good news MichaelK.
I've updated the module with a server field in the settings form to support this new functionality.

kmillecam commentedHi toma,
When you submit new requests, please open a new ticket. Since this ticket was closed, it makes it hard (sometimes impossible) to see new comments that are added.
In answer to your question, the dev version is only updated by the Drupal.org packaging scripts every 12 hours. Looks like you grabbed a copy before the script had run. The recommended production version was updated immediately.
HTH,
Kevin
