Problems with Drupal.org search function?

I always use the advanced search to search for things on this site, I noticed that there seems to be some sort of problem with it not picking up everything, for example I wanted to search for "menu" and "menus" to see if there were any modules related to this.

I only got 4 responses from the search query, none of them showed the nice_menus module. I clicked on modules as the category to search, I don't know if its because it uses a _ that it doesn't pick it up, but then again the word "menu" is mentioned multiple times on the nice_menus page.

Anyways I just wanted to point this out, I think I've been posting a lot of questions on the forums that I didn't need to because I assumed the modules didn't exist when nothing showed up in the search.

I wanted to point out that

I wanted to point out that this problem isn't for the general search, but only when you use the advanced search feature and highlight a certain category, such as "modules"

funny - i don't even search on drupal anymore

i now regularly go to google.com and type:

site:drupal.org [followed by my search query terms]

...try it yourself. you'll be amazed.

as for 'menu' and 'menus' i use the porter stemmer module on my site to handle that and it works like a charm:
http://drupal.org/project/porterstemmer
