hello guys
is there a method to hide a block from certain users or to show it to specefic users? for example i want only aadmin to see a certain block

If you go to "Administer › Site building › Blocks" click on configure next to the block in question. There will be a section called "Role specific visibility settings" where you can place a check box next to the specific role you would like to view the block.

you can also create a role for this purpose and put the people you want to see the block in that role.

unfortunatly, looks like this option is not in drupal 4.7 :(
