Unfortunately the README is confusing...

Under admin / Site Configuration / Integrated Metatags ... it says to "To use this, you must first create a Metatag with the name of "description"" .. but nowhere is it clear how to 'create' a metatag.

The only other place I can find is admin / Content Management / Integrated Metatags ... and it's completely obtuse and unclear what I am to do here, and the README doesn't help.

I managed to work it out even with all the obtuseness. Had to read the code and do database queries to begin to get a grasp on this. I've written up something here: http://davidherron.com/book/topics/986-metatags-drupal-content
