As per title, the righthand sidebar when enabled seems to 'dig into' the right hand side of the browser so you're missing say... 20px or so. See attached capture, you'll notice that "Sun" is completely missing from the events block and the "more" is also cut in half... Also, not having used this theme before I just wanted to check; is it normal for the r/h sidebar to float on top of the content? I mean it looks fine, but sometimes it covers things over so you can't see them/ select them (see attached! it covers the options for the top themes!)

With a fixed-width sidebar -- I am curious on how we are going to be able to remedy this.

The only real fix I can think of is to make the sidebar larger than 180px. Any other ideas?

Opinions on widening the sidebars?

Widening the sidebar is one option. There are some themes that sqeeze the calendar within the sidebar, but I couldn't tell you which right now since I no longer use the event calendar module. The themes I was referring to were D5 themes and not D6 since I haven't used the event calendar with D6. If you don't want to widen the sidebar, I would try some other themes to see which one resizes the calendar to fit within the sidebar and look at the css to see how it is being done.
