Hello all, it seems I have done something very noobish :-(

I installed Drupal successfully but when I decided to take my site offline to make changed i logged out and now cannot log back in to make any changes. All I see is the "site offline" page. I tried the ?q=user/login but it did not work, is there a work around? and in the future how can I avoid this...Thanks to all

As noted here, try just:

http://example.com/?q=user

(replace example.com with your domain). This has always worked for me in the past.

dude, thanks a lot...it worked my problem is that i did not type in http:// dont know how that affects, but thanks a million for the quick respond :-)
