deletes accounts associated with aliases

Description
scenario:
Jon leaves the company. Joe was his manager. Jon received important emails, so Joe asked the IT Guy to forward Jon's email to him via an alias. the IT Guy goes in to clean up accounts on the drupal intranet site and removes Jon's account. After doing so, drupal pleasantly responds with the error "Unable to remove jon@company.com". The IT Guy sends an email to Joe to let him know the account has been removed. The IT Guy gets a bounce back. Upon firing up zimbra, he find the account and all of Joe's email is gone.
im thinking there should be a fail safe in this module to prevent it from deleting a users account when its attached to an alias.
