I am converting my Postnuke site to Drupal. Doing it manually, but that is ok. What I need to know is how do I keep forum oists from showing up in the fromt page> All I wnat on the front page are my blog posts.I am using the built-in forum file type to do forum post.

Also, my drupal is currently sitting in its own folder = a subfolder of my root. Whem I am ready to take it live, should I move the files to the root or is there an easier way to do this? If I do move the files, will it still work okay?

Please keep in minde when responding that I am a technical dummy. So, please keep explanations as simple as possible and very little programming. Cut and pasting of code I can. Writing code, other than HTML is beyond my capabilities, sorry to say.

Thanks for the help.

Disable promote to front page for your forum post: Content-->content types-->edit Forum-->scroll down and uncheck "promote to front page"

I tried that but it did not work, but in the process of doing that, I did find out how to do it. I went to Site Configuration--->Site Information--->Default Home Page and changed that from "node" to "blog" which worked since my blog is the only one and will always be the only one.

Thanks for the help. Appreciate it. BTW, I did get my site moved to the root w/o any problems. So, don't need help with that any more. i LOVE Drupal!!!! Hoping to see more custom modules for Drpal 6 SOON!!!

Peace!
